On the 11th of April 2022, a private investment consortium backed by the company's two founders, Lis Beck and Anna Søndergaard, has agreed with private equity firm Valedo Partners to buy the company they founded 19 years ago. Read more here

When Anna & Lis founded Becksöndergaard in 2003 in Copenhagen, they set out to create accessories for women who love playful and personal designs that can be styled season after season. Soon, the brand became renowned for its colours, contrasts and unique prints. 

In a world where trends matters, but are secondary to a personal sense of style, Becksöndergaard represents opportunities to put together a fully personalized look.
